Mental Health Data Hub

The mental health data hub is designed to help people find data relating to mental health. The data hub provides links to a variety of statistical publications and dashboards from a number of organisations. The majority of the data presented uses data from the Mental Health Services Dataset (MHSDS) however some publications also present data from other sources.

Mental health statistical publications

This includes links to published data from a variety of mental health publications which are published on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Mental health dashboards

This includes links to a variety of interactive dashboards which visualise existing mental health publication data.

Mental health data quality

This includes links to visualisations relating to the data quality of MHSDS. There are also links to specific guidance documents relating to data quality and MHSDS.

Mental health Act data quality plan

Activities planned to improve the quality of data submitted to the MHSDS in relation to the Mental Health Act.

Mental health information from NHS Digital and other sources

Useful mental health information produced by NHS Digital, charities, academic institutions and other public bodies.

Mental health, learning disability and autism resource hub

For users to learn more about the national programme and share good practice across mental health, learning disability and autism systems. You will need to sign up and log into FutureNHS to access these resources.

GitHub Repositories for MHSDS publications

GitHub repositories containing the code used to produce the publications which utilise Mental Health Services Dataset (MHSDS) data. These repositories cannot be cloned and run directly but do provide the methodologies and logic used to create the statistics.
