How do I access NASCIS?

Pre-release data access for councils

Users in councils with social services responsibility can get access to data as soon as we have carried out the initial validation. At times throughout the year data is loaded that is still going through the validation processes required for national statistics.

I work in a council with social services responsibility. How do I get early access to NASCIS data?

If you are a local authority user and require access to the management information data, please email us at enquiries@hscic.gov.uk or telephone 0845 300 6016.

I don't work in a council with social services responsibility. When can I access the data?

We release this data early for internal management purposes only and access is strictly limited in line with guidelines on pre-release access to national statistics. All other NASCIS users can access the data when the official publication is made available. For release dates, see our publications calendar.
