12 February 2016National Audit of Pulmonary Hypertension 2015: number of new referrals increase by a fifth12 February 2016: The number of new referrals for patients with pulmonary hypertension(2) has increased by just over a fifth (21 per cent) over the last five years, according to a national audit published today by the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC). The number of new referrals has risen from 1,789 in 2010 to 2,169 in 2015.

03 February 2016Understanding and supporting the digital needs of the Charitable Sector: How can Connecting Care help?The smooth exchange of information with Charitable sector providers is an integral part of providing integrated health and care as outlined in the National Information Board's 'Personalised Health and Care 2020 - a framework for action'. However, there is often little understanding of the levels of digital maturity, skills and needs of such important providers. Connecting Care is a Department of Health project, that is designed to help providers of adult social care in the Charitable sector providers make the most of information and communication technologies.
