The national provider of information, data and IT systems for health and social care

Percentage of People with Electronic Access to their Medical Records Return (PHF10)

Frequency: Quarterly

Background to the collection

The PHF10: % of People with Electronic Access to their Medical Records return (PHF 10 return) collects information on the availability to GP patients of electronic access to their medical records, test results, prescriptions, and online appointment booking facilities at the GP Practice level.

The PHF10 return replaces the indicator SRF14: % of patients with greater control of their care record. The return is collected from system suppliers on a quarterly basis via the Data Depot secure file transfer system by the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC).

Completing the return

The PHF10 return is collected via the HSCIC's Data Depot secure file transfer system.

In order to register for a Data Depot user account please contact datadepot@hscic.gov.uk. We will then send you an email with details of how to register.
